The Man from Belize
In a dark parking garage under east thirty second street.
Works a man I frequently have the pleasure to meet.
Down there he never gets to enjoy the shine of the sun.
But he always smiles and talking with him is so much fun.
He is from the small Central American country of Belize
His laidback Latin Creole speech always puts me at ease.
" Our reefs have the worlds most brilliant techni-colored coral"
“The forests contain breathtaking and exotic displays of floral"
“We’re also famous for our home grown Belizean Gold"
“Just a bit and you'll hear colors and see sounds" I am told.
