I’m a nobody. I run a small business that I deceive myself on
a daily basis is a big business and that it really matters. This
is bullshit.
I like to write poetry and prose, but I don't quite understand
the difference, and I'm not going to take a class to learn the
difference because I don't care what the fuck is the
difference; so I've got this style going and it is what it is—
call it like the Jackson Pollack-style of pouring words on
paper. Yeah, that's cool… I like that.
So every once in a while I get this insane idea that I should
run for President of the USA, and tonight the idea crossed
my mind again; so I started pouring words onto paper like
Jackson Pollock poured paint from buckets onto canvas on
his barn floor in Springs, New York.
That’s when I decided that my platform for running for the
President of the United States of America would be, well, if
you elect me as President of The United States of America, I
will work tirelessly to try and stop people from killing people
for any reason whatsoever. After this, then, of course, we
will have to deal with other important things like global
warming and the global economy and sending rockets to
the planet Mars and shit like that, but first and foremost, I
want to be President because I just believe in my heart the
humans should not be killing other humans for any reason
whatsoever. But, who in their right mind would ever elect a
poet to be President of The United States of America?
