My Shit Together
After I wake up,
drink strong coffee,
and take a shower,
I sort of know how well
my day is going to go
based on how long it takes
to get all my shit together.

Sun glasses
Clear glasses
Digital camera
Keys
Wallet
Shoes
Money
Yesterday’s mail
Dry cleaning tickets
Blah, blah, blah
This, that, and...
the other thing.

Yeah, when I get my shit together,
I’ll know.
